Mrs. Einuis specializes in teaching our woodwinds and helping our freshmen to make the transition from middle school to high school. She serves as an assistant director of the Marching Spartans.
Judy Einuis is a native of Earlham, Iowa and earned her degree in music education and saxophone performance from the University of Iowa. She taught Middle School band for twelve years in the Virginia Beach City school system, and for four years served as Senior Band Director at Poe Middle School in Annandale, Virginia. She began teaching at Robinson Secondary School in 2004, where her teaching duties included Middle School Concert and Jazz Bands. In the fall of 2006 she assumed the role of Director of Middle School Bands at Robinson where she oversees all middle school bands and is also music department chair. Mrs. Einuis is an active guest conductor, clinician and adjudicator throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, and plays saxophone in the Fairfax Wind Symphony. She has been a staff conductor for the Mid-Atlantic Concert Band Camps for more than 10 years. She is a member of Phi Beta Mu, MENC, VMEA, NBA, and WBDI.
