Band Staff

The West Springfield band program has many dedicated professionals working to provide the highest quality of instruction to all of our students and ensembles.  In addition to our full-time faculty members we have many adjunct instructors, ensemble directors, sectional clinicians and private lesson instructors.  Each of our instructors has a history of successful teaching and has been approved by the Fairfax County Public Schools.

Larry Einuis, Director of Bands

Mr. Einuis is serving as Director of Bands.  He is the conductor of the Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, and is responsible for the percussion class and the Marching Spartans.

Kurt R. Holscher, Associate Director of Bands

Mr. Holscher, Associate Director of Bands conducts the Concert Bands, teaches A.P. Theory, Jazz and Percussion.  He is the assistant director of the Marching Spartans.

Chris Martin, Percussion Coordinator

Chris Martin is a percussionist with the United States Air Force Band and our percussion coordinator.  He is the director of the W.S.H.S. Indoor Drumline and Percussion Ensemble.

Judy Einuis, Woodwind Specialist

Judy Einuis serves as woodwind specialist and assists with the Wind Symphony and Marching Spartans.  She is the Senior Middle School Band Director at Robinson Secondary School.
